out of steam
don't think i've felt this worn out since limping home after fighting fit over a year ago. seems like it took me a few weeks just to get back to the level of fitness where i was even capable of getting this exhausted, but i do seem to be making progress.

my ribs still hurt, but i'm trying not to worry so much. even the feeling in my pinky returned eventually. i may heal slowly, but i do heal.

Blast from the Past
Hey there cutes. Glad to see Chicago worked out for you and that you're still around on here. Wasn't sure if you still posted or not, but I had to check since I watched the movie Chocolate tonight and immediately thought of you! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1183252/

Surely you recall musing a long time ago if this was going to be a real movie or not and sure enough, voila! :)
It was pretty good even. Some cool fighting in there. Makes me want to roll around and kick things.

Doing MMA now I see, eh? Sounds heart attack inducing, but otherwise good. I've recently gotten my 1st brown belt rank in danzan ryu jujitsu. Loving this stuff, even though some of this higher level stuff leaves me banged up for days. The groundwork is what I need to work on the most. My throwing is much better. Probably because it doesn't involve so much struggling and trying to breathe. heh.

Be well,
~M

They call it MMA, but I dunno, they're kinda disorganized. Feels more like a gym with classes than a martial arts school. It's a brand new school though, might get better as they gain experience.

congrats on the jujitsu progress. i've had some throwing instruction at this new place but its really basic. i wish they'd get a real judo instructor to do a class or something like that.
